Weaver will be hosting the LAEF STEAM Fair on Friday 4/26/24 from 8:30-10 a.m.
It is an incredible event with students from K-5th grade presenting their science projects.
At home, your child can create anything that falls into the five STEAM categories; science, technology, engineering, art, or math. Due to limited space, the students may present their project on a tri-fold board. For example, if they make a baking soda volcano, they need to take pictures of the steps involved and create a presentation board, but they leave the actual volcano at home. They may also choose to show their tech project on a chrome book, or film their project with Flip, or have their art on a canvas or small poster board.
LAEF will provide a tri-fold poster display board for your child to use if they need one. This is thanks to the generous support from the Los Alamitos Education Foundation (LAEF).
